Never would have guessed…

That we would come this far just to give up so easily. I’ve been selfish and I can never take back all those times where I only thought about myself and my feelings. I’m such a fool. Because of me, we’re slipping and falling out of something that was so beautiful, so real. To me, it felt real. I can never feel this way towards anyone else, but I’ll never know. I’ve been stuck living in this fantasy that started in 2008 and it’s time for me to wake up and realize that everything is not about me anymore. It never was, even when I felt so justified.

There’s not much to do now but look forward and hope for the best. Perhaps our paths will meet again and it would be perfect like it was. For now, we have much to do, much to see, much to learn.
